Opening Times (Avis, Budget)

The airport car hire centre is located in a detached building approximately 400m from the terminal building, just beyond the airport car park.
Outside of the standard opening hours, car keys can be dropped off in the terminal building.
There are a number of different rental companies operating from the Car Rental Services building.

The route from the Terminal Building to Car Rental Services is approximately 400m.
Car rental companies may offer a Meet and Greet service to accompany customers from the Terminal Building to Car Rental Services. Please enquire ahead of travel.
To reach Car Rental Services, leave the Terminal Building and take the pedestrian crossing ahead and to the left.
The crossing has tactile paving.
Take the second pedestrian crossing, heading towards the car park.
This crossing has tactile paving.
Follow the covered walkway to the car park.
The surface here is tarmac, and level.
Take the pedestrian crossing through the car park to the path alongside the car park exit.
The path here has a steep downward slope and is narrowed in places by signposts and foliage. The surface may be uneven in places.

Customers would usually collect or drop off hired vehicles in the designated bays in the car park.
At the time of our survey (April 2015), the Hertz and Europcar parking areas were located in the long-stay car park.
These are over 50m away from the car hire centre, mostly on a level covered walkway.
The Avis and Budget car pick up zones are located in front of the Terminal Building, near to the bus stops.
There is no dropped kerb between the terminal and this area.
There is also a further Europcar zone on the opposite side of Hartmann Road near the terminal.
There is a pedestrian crossing with dropped kerbs and tactile paving in this location.
Customers who require additional services, such as the hire vehicle being brought up to the car hire centre, are advised to make enquiries in advance.
