Access Guide
Ambulift
- The clear door width of the platform lift used to access the Ambulift is 95cm.
- The dimensions of the platform lift used to access the Ambulift are 153cm x 133cm.
- There are separate entry and exit doors in the lift.
- There is seating available in the Ambulift.
- There are a mixture of chairs with and without armrests available in the Ambulift.
- Seats in the vehicle are reconfigured as required, by the accompanying Special Assistance team members, to allow access to tie-down points if required.
Toilet and Changing Facilities
- There are 4 toilets with adaptations.
- Toilets with adaptations are located next to gates 2, 3 and 5, as well as just beyond Baggage Claim.
- The transfer space within the toilets with adaptations varies between left and right.
- A Changing Places facility is available but is only accessible with staff.
Passengers needing to use the facility should enquire at the Special Assistance Reception in good time before their flight. - Step-free male and female toilet facilities are located just beyond Baggage Claim and either side of the lift up to the exit.
- Step-free standard toilets which include facilities for ambulant disabled people are located just beyond Baggage Claim.
