Toilet and Changing Facilities
- There are 2 toilets with adaptations.
- The toilet with adaptations is located between gates 2 and 3 and next to Gate 5.
- The toilet with adaptations has a left hand transfer space.
- A Changing Places facility is available but is only accessible with staff.
Passengers needing to use the facility should enquire at the Special Assistance Reception in good time before their flight. - Step-free male and female toilet facilities are located between gates 2 and 3.
- Step-free standard toilets which include facilities for ambulant disabled people are located within the male and female standard toilets, between gates 2 and 3.
- Parent and baby changing facilities are located next to the toilet with adaptations, between gates 2 and 3.
Getting To Departure Gates (1 to 5)
- Assistance vehicles N/A available.
- There are resting/seating areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is available along the route.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
- For information on how to book assistance please visit the airport website.
- Assistance is available for passengers who cannot travel long distances or find their way to the gate. Passengers requiring this service should book in advance with their airline and approach the Special Assistance reception in the Departure Lounge.
Ramp / Slope (Walkway to Departure Gates 1-5)
- The ramp is located on the walkway from the departure lounge to departure gates.
- The slight ramp is over 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- The ramp bypasses the steps.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
Stairs (Walkway to Departure Gates)
- The floors which are accessible by stairs are 1, 2.
- There are more than 20 steps, which are clearly marked, with handrails on both sides.
- The handrails are easy to grip.
- The handrails cover the flight of stairs throughout its length.
- The handrails extend horizontally beyond the first and last step.
- Steps are split with a resting area.
- The height of the highest step is 18cm.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
Lift (Walkway to Departure Gates)
- The lift is located en route to the gates from the Departures Lounge.
- The floors which are accessible by the lift surveyed are 1, 2.
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The lift door has a high contrast.
- The external lift control buttons have tactile markings and a low colour contrast.
- All of the external lift controls are at the recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
- The lift door opening width is 189cm.
- The internal dimensions of the lift are 182cm x 365cm.
- The internal lift control buttons have tactile markings and a low colour contrast.
- All of the internal lift controls are at the recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).

Escalator (Walkway to Departure Gates)
- The escalator is located on the walkway from the Departures Lounge to Departure Loynge.

- The foot (bottom) and head (top) of the escalator are clearly marked.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
Seating Area (Departure Gates 1-5)
- The seating area is located within each departure gate.
- There is step-free level access in this area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest in the seating area.
- There are fixed chairs with armrests, bench seats, high stools and high tables available in this area.
- The tables are not suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).

Departure Gates (1-5)
