Getting To (Pharmacy)

  • The most accessible route from the Blue Badge parking bays has a very easy slope, uneven surfaces and a dropped kerb.

  • Access to the Pharmacy is via the Outpatients entrance.

  • The Pharmacy is located on Level 2 of Orange Wing.

  • From the Blue Badge bays, follow the pavement around the left side of the hospital, past the Emergency Department entrance, to the Outpatients entrance.
  • Go through the Outpatients entrance, and continue ahead past the main Outpatients reception.
  • Continue along the main corridor and then turn right.
  • The Pharmacy is on the left hand side.
  • Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access and doors permanently held open.
  • Some flooring along the route is shiny.
  • There are resting areas along the route.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided.
  • Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
  • The following toilet facilities are available along the route; a toilet with adaptations (with left hand transfer), a toilet with adaptations (with right hand transfer) and standard toilets.

  • The height of the counter is 111cm.
  • There is a lowered section at the counter.
  • The height of the lowered section is 73cm.
