About this venue

From the reign of Henry the VIII, through the Great Fire of London to the mysteries of Jack the Ripper with a couple of thrilling rides too, London Dungeon brings to life London’s dark and horrible history. A dark-walk tour featuring immersive sets, character actors, and special effects the attraction balances jump scares with gallows humour to have guests screaming and laughing in equal measure. Originally located in Tooley Street, the attraction located to Southbank in 2013.

Getting Here

Getting Help and Assistance

  • There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
  • There is not a member of staff trained in British Sign Language.
  • There is not an assistance dog toilet or toileting area at the venue/nearby.
  • Water bowls for assistance dogs are available.
  • There are not mobility aids available.
  • Guests with mobility impairments
    Guests with mobility impairments should note, the floor will move in some of the attractions. The majority of the attractions will involve standing. Seating is available in some of the attractions, however a seat cannot be guaranteed/reserved. If lift usage is required, tickets must be booked for specific time slots.
  • Guests with visual and hearing impairments
    Guests with visual and hearing impairments should note there is low lighting throughout the majority of the attractions. There are numerous sound effects, actor performances and audio voiceovers meaning that those with hearing impairments may struggle to experience the attraction fully. Guide dogs are permitted, however they do not have access to either of the rides.
  • Guests with Autism
    Guests with Autism should note a number of the attraction spaces have low lighting, loud background noises and effects, flashing lights, jump scares as well as other intentionally sensory experiences.
    Guests with epilepsy
    There are some attraction spaces with lighting effects that may not be suitable for those with epilepsy. Only one attraction space has strobe lighting (The Ten Bells) that may not be suitable for those with photosensitive epilepsy. This can be bypassed if required.

South Bank Public Car Parks

  • This section provides information about a number of public cars parks around South Bank.
    For more information about access and parking charges please visit the individual car parks.
    South Bank is located in the congestion charging zone.

Tickets and Information Kiosk - The Queen's Walk

  • There is a 100cm wide door accessing the Ticket and Information Kiosk.
  • There are two, 117cm high counters within the kiosk.
  • There is a total of 5 self-service ticket touchscreens available.
  • The lowest point of the touchscreens is 88cm.
  • The highest point of the touchscreens is 176cm.
  • There is a choice of 3 languages when using the touchscreens (English, French and German).

Getting To (The London Dungeon from Accessible Entrance)
