- There is a small lip on the threshold of the entrance, with a height of 2cm or below.
- There are two entrance areas either side of the Purple Staircase lobby area, that can be used to access the Broad Street Shops.

- The flooring in this area consists of carpet and tiles.
- There is some flooring which includes patterns or colours which could be confusing or look like steps or holes to some people.
- There is some flooring which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
- Handrails are intermittent throughout.
- Music is played in the shopping area.
- The lighting levels are moderate to good.
- There are tables/desks in the main walkways when the shops are open.
- The tables/desks are at a height of 72cm.

- There are double permanently held open doors for access to all shops.

- The majority of shops have either one or two of the doors detailed above. These doors are 210cm wide when fully opened.
- There is one shop with a set of 168cm wide manual, heavy double doors that open away from you and another shop with a 96cm wide single, sliding door.
- Some shops have sufficient turning space of 150cm x 150cm.
- The layouts of the shops may vary when open.
- All shops have their own payment counter.
- The heights of the individual shop payment counters range between 100cm and 105cm.
