Getting To (Acute Ambulatory Unit)
- The most accessible route from the Main Patient and Visitor Car Park has a slight ramp or slope, uneven surfaces, a dropped kerb with tactile paving and a pedestrian crossing.

- Access to the Acute Ambulatory Unit is via the Main Hospital Entrance.
- There is a drop-off point at this entrance.

- The Acute Ambulatory Unit is located on the first floor of the main hospital building, along the right wing corridor and on the right.
- The Acute Ambulatory Unit is approximately 62m from the main lifts - 3 and 4.
- Enter via the main hospital entrance and proceed straight ahead to the main staircase.
Turn right at the main staircase and enter the right wing corridor.
The lifts are to the left.
Take a lift to the first floor and exit to the left.
Continue along the right wing corridor and the entrance to the Acute Ambulatory Unit will be on the left.
Go through this entrance and the department is located to the right. - Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and doors permanently held open.
- Some flooring along the route is shiny and patterned.
- There are resting areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is provided.
- Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
