Getting To (Surgical Ward 2)

  • The most accessible route from the Main Patient and Visitor Car Park has a slight ramp or slope, uneven surfaces, a dropped kerb with tactile paving and a pedestrian crossing.

  • Surgical Ward 2 is located on the first floor of the main hospital building, along the right wing corridor.
  • Surgical Ward 2 is approximately 90m from the main lifts (3 and 4).
  • Enter via the main hospital entrance.
    Proceed straight ahead until you reach the main staircase.
    Turn right at the staircase and continue along the right wing corridor until you reach the main lifts (3 and 4) on the left.
    Take the lift to the first floor.
    Exit the lift, turn left and continue along the right wing corridor.
    Surgical Ward 2 is located along the corridor and on the right.
  • Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and doors permanently held open.
  • Some flooring along the route is shiny and patterned.
  • There are resting areas along the route.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided.
  • Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.

Parking (Main Patient and Visitor Car Park)
