Overview (Key Accessibility Information)

  • Marble Arch is one of the most visited sites in London and is instantly recognisable standing on the corner of one of the Royal Parks, Hyde Park. Located in Central London next to Oxford Street, one of the world's busiest and premier shopping areas.
  • There are statues such as Flight and Still Water to see and the Marble Arch Fountains.
  • The garden area is pedestrianised and for general public use.
    There are several pathways throughout the gardens which have a surface of concrete, tarmac and flagstone paving.
  • There are several benches/seating areas available throughout the gardens.
  • There are bus stops midway through the gardens on the bus way that cuts through in a one way direction from Cumberland Gate to Bayswater Road.
    There are also bus stops available on surrounding nearby roads.
    The nearest tube station is Marble Arch, just off Oxford Street and has stepped access only.
  • There is a large car park nearby underneath Hyde Park called Q-Park Marble Arch.
  • There are no toilet facilities nearby.

      There are some slight slopes throughout Marble Arch. There is a bus-only road to cross midway through Marble Arch.
      The buses travel one-way from Cumberland Gate to Bayswater Road.
      The crossing point has dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides and the roadway is tarmac.
      This crossing point is on an easy uphill slope running from towards the Marble Arch Fountain direction towards the crossing point.
