Getting To (Sanctuary - Chapel)
- The most accessible route from the main entrance Blue Badge bays has step-free level access and uneven surfaces.
- Access to the Sanctuary is via the main entrance.
- There is not a drop-off point at this entrance.
- The Sanctuary is located on the ground floor of the main hospital building.
- The Sanctuary is approximately 20m from the main entrance.
- From the main entrance, take the corridor to the left of the reception desk.
The entrance to the Sanctuary is located ahead, on the left. - Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access and doors permanently held open.
- Some flooring along the route is shiny and patterned.
- There are resting areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is provided.
- Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
- The following toilet facilities are available along the route; a toilet with adaptations (with left hand transfer).

- There is not a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance.
- The ramp has a slight gradient.
- The ramp is over 150cm wide with handrails on both sides.
- There is a bell at a height of 144cm.
- The height of the hand sanitiser is 111cm.
- There are double automatic doors at this entrance.
- The doors open by sliding.
- The width of the opening is 142cm.

- There is a second set of double manual doors .

There is a similar entrance the other side of the entrance lobby, which can be used when approaching from the rear of the main hospital building, however the slope at this entrance is steep.
Both entrances lead to the same second door.
