Getting To (Phlebotomy)

The most accessible route from Car Park B has a slight ramp or slope, uneven surfaces, a dropped kerb with tactile paving, bollards and a pedestrian crossing.

Access to Phlebotomy is via the Emergency Department and Outpatients Department entrance.
There is a drop-off point at this entrance.

Phlebotomy is located on the first floor of the Outpatients Block, within Outpatients.
Phlebotomy is approximately 40m from the Outpatients lift.
Enter via the Emergency Department and Outpatients Department entrance.
Proceed ahead to the Outpatients lift on the left.
Take the lift to the first floor.
Exit the lift and continue straight ahead.
Go through the entrance to Outpatients, to the left.
Follow the Outpatients corridor and the entrance to Phlebotomy is ahead and on the right.
Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and doors permanently held open.
Some flooring along the route is shiny.
There are resting areas along the route.
Wayfinding signage is provided.
Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
The following toilet facilities are available along the route; a toilet with adaptations (with right hand transfer).

This entrance is located at the front of the Hillingdon Hospital, on the left hand side.
The entrance area is clearly signed.
