Access To (UCL Cruciform Hub)
- The UCL Cruciform Hub is located in the basement of the Cruciform Building.

- The most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and manual doors.
- There is written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the UCL Cruciform Hub.
- There are barriers to access the UCL Cruciform Hub. The width of the wide barrier is 88cm. The width of the narrow barrier is 54cm. The height of the card reader is 95cm. The width of the security barriers are 80cm.
Reception (Security Desk)
- The reception is located ahead from the barriers.
- The distance from the barriers is 3m.
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- The height of the reception desk is 73cm.
- The reception has glazed screens.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- There is no (or very little) background noise in this area.
- Lighting levels vary due to the use of large glazed walls.
Reception (Library Desk)
- The reception is located ahead from the barriers.
- The distance from the barriers is 5m.
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- The width of the gap to access the Library Desk is 119cm.
- The height of the reception desk is 82cm.
- There is a lowered section at the desk.
- The height of the lowered section is 72cm.
- There is a clearly signed portable hearing assistance system.
- The hearing assistance system was tested and working at the time of the survey.
