Getting To The Hospital

  • By Road View

      Car parking is free for Blue Badge Holders. This time is unlimited for those parking within a car park. Blue Badge holders press the intercom on exit and will be asked to hold their Blue Badge to the window. The Car Parking Team will then raise the barrier.
      People parking in a Blue Badge space outside of a barrier controlled car park have 3 hours free car parking.
  • By Bus View
    • There is a bus stop is located on London Road, approximately 100 metres away with services to Leicester and Boulton via routes 1, 1a, 1c, 73 and skylink Derby.
    • There is an on-site bus stop located on Litchurch Street, which is served by the Trent Barton ‘Royal Derby’ bus. There is access to the Main Entrance of the hospital via steps and a ramp across the road from this bus stop.

Getting To (Breast Screening)

    Continue to the very end of the corridor and the entrance to the X-Ray department is located on the right.
    Enter the X-Ray department proceed down the corridor on the right side of the department.
    Go up the steep slope and continue straight along the corridor, going through the MRI Unit and Ultrasound department.
    At the very end of the corridor the entrance to the Breast Screening department is located to the right.
  • There is ramped/sloped and lift access to Breast Screening.
