Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via slight slopes.

- Department of Physics (Bragg Building) has seven entrances. The most accessible entrance is the main entrance at the front of the building which provides step-free level access to the ground floor.
- The entrance is signed as Cavendish Laboratory. The two entrances on the first floor from the Link Building and the Mott Building are signed as Bragg Building. The other entrances are not signed.
- The main entrance provides step-free level access to the reception foyer on the ground floor.
- All the entrances have step-free level access.
Getting Around
- There is step-free access throughout the building on all floors.
- On the ground floor there is a steep ramp in the corridor leading to the undergraduate laboratories at the rear of the building.
- There are 2 clearly marked steps without handrails leading to a raised seating area in the common room on the ground floor.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are carpeted, hard and smooth with a shiny finish.
- There are resting areas in some of the circulation routes with a mixture of seating.
