Entry and Exit Barriers

  • Immediately beyond the reception desk are automated barriers. There is a gate to the left for mobility impaired students and visitors which may be opened by swiping an ID card (110cm high reader) or by the reception staff. The gate is 120cm wide. The standard gates are 80cm wide and are operated by the ID card. Adjacent to the entry barriers are the exit barriers which have the same dimensions.
  • All entry to the University buildings is through these controlled barriers.

Getting Around

  • Access View
    • There is step free access throughout the building via lift(s).
