Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via slight slopes.
- There are two entrances into the building, a main entrance at the front of the building and a rear entrance both of which enter the building on the ground floor.
- The main entrance has a single entrance that has a automatic door that opens towards you.
- There is an alternative automatic revolving door next to the main entrance.
- The main entrance is signed as both the Ian Wand Building and Computer Science.
- The rear entrance is not signed.
- The main entrance provides step-free level access to the reception foyer on the ground floor.
- The rear entrance into the building has manual entrance, with a set of double manual doors.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building.
- Access between the left wing and the right wing of the building on both the first and second floors is via slight ramps.
- There is level access to the left wing via the lift to the left of the building.
- There is level access to the right right of the building by the lift to the right of the building.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes in the right right of the building are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
- Floor surfaces in the rest of the building are carpeted.
- There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
- Overhead and wall mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.
