Access To
- E/019 Practice Room is located on the upper ground floor of the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall and Music Research Centre, along the corridor located immediately to your left as you enter the building through the concert hall entrance.

- The most accessible route has step-free level access, manual doors and narrow walkways.

- There is written text and numbered signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access to enter E/019 Practice Room.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 76cm.
- The door has a high visual contrast.
Teaching
- This is a teaching room.
- There is step-free level access throughout the room.
- Furniture can be moved to enable a manoeuvring space for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- The flooring consists of deep pile carpet.
- Floor coverings are even with no trip hazards.
- The walls and floor have a medium visual contrast.
- Lighting levels were even at the time of the survey, with unshaded light sources.
- Lighting levels are adjustable.
- There is not space for an assistance dog to rest.
- Seating available in the room includes: chairs without armrests and stools.
- "Mood" lighting is also available, where the colour and brightness of the lights can be modified.
