- Parking is free for all users.

Public Transport
- There is not a bus stop within approximately 150m of the venue.
- The nearest scheduled bus services stop on the A90, 2 miles west of the farm.
The stop is served by Stagecoach East Scotland routes 20 and 21. - The nearest train station is Dundee.
- Dundee Station is located approximately 17km (10.6 miles) south-west of Newton Farm.
Dundee is a Category A station. This station has step-free access to all platforms.
Health and Safety
- COVID-19 - Please note, all farm experiences are adapted to current Scottish Government guidance following the COVID-19 pandemic, with limited numbers, an enhanced cleaning regime, social distancing and mask wearing when applicable.
- Pre-Booking - All experiences must be pre-booked in advance with spaces limited per experience.
- The farm is a working farm, so experiences are offered specific times tailored around the farms work.
- Experiences can be combined when available.
- Children - The adult to child ratio remains at 1 adult : 2 children (including any infants) for health and safety.
- Some experiences are suitable for any age but please check before booking to avoid disappointment.
- The farm recommends 5yrs+ for feeding frenzy, 7yrs+ for alpaca walking & 10yrs+ for highland cow experience for health and safety reasons.
- Pregnant women are NOT to attend any lambing or kidding experience.
- Please make use of hand washing facilities, especially after handling or interacting with animals. Please also make use of disinfectant mats where provided.
- A first aid / quiet room / mother's room is available as part of the toilet block.
- The standard farm tour is dog friendly but please advise in advance if you are bringing your dog.

- The following outdoor facilities are available: parkland.
- Surfaces for the outdoor spaces include: grass, concrete or tarmac, compact earth, gravel and muddy.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor spaces.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
Tour (Farm Tour)
- The tour is guided.
- The tour takes approximately 1.5 hours.
- There is step-free access along the tour route, via ramp/slope.
- The majority of walkways are 150cm+ wide.
- The tour can be adapted to avoid inaccessible areas.
- Different tour types are available which may vary the tour time and route.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- The following may be experienced on the tour: strong smells and sudden loud noises.
- Tour information includes the following formats: tactile and audio description.
- There are no seats at regular intervals along the tour.
- Some of the seating is fixed.
- There are folding seats/stools available to take around the tour.
- Some flooring along the tour route is smooth and even.
- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, it is due to uneven paving/tiles, unsurfaced paths, gravel and loose chippings.
- There are shooting stick seats, mobility walkers, and an electric scooter available to borrow.
There are picnic tables available. A new covered picnic area is being developed.
Tours may include walking on fields, uneven surfaces, muddy areas and surfaces covered with straw.
All tours are adaptable depending on circumstances.
Apart from the standard Farm Tour, other tours include Lambing Special, Alpaca Walking, Highland Cow Experience, and Feeding Frenzy.
Ramp or Slope (Toilet Block)
- A width between 75cm and 150cm and There is a ramp with a slight gradient .
- The ramp does not have handrails.
Toilet with Adaptations (Farmyard - Left Hand Transfer)
- This accessible toilet is located at the front of the toilet block on the left side of the farmyard.
- There is step-free access into the accessible toilet, via ramp/slope.
- This accessible toilet is approximately 45m from the car park.
- There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the door.
- There is a manual door which opens outwards and has a good colour contrast.
- The door has a locking handle (with a RADAR key to access).
- The width of the accessible toilet door opening is 87cm.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 279cm x 259cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet seat.
- The lateral transfer space is 209cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- There is a pull chain flush on the transfer side.
- The following grab rails are available: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side and a vertical grab rail on the transfer side.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder, the wash basin and the soap dispenser.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: towel dispenser.
- The height of the toilet seat above floor level is 43cm.
- The height of the toilet roll holder is 104cm.
- The wash basin tap type is twist/turn.
- The height of the wash basin is 73cm.
- The height of the soap dispenser is 94cm.
- The height of the towel dispenser is 105cm.
- The height of the baby change is 79cm.
- There is no emergency alarm.
- There is a shelf located where it is reachable.
- The shelf is not positioned between 85cm and 105cm and has minimum dimensions of 12.5cm x 40cm.
- The cubicle does not have coat hooks.
- The cubicle also has: a full length mirror, a waste bin without lid and a padded back rest for seat.
- The following have a good colour contrast with their surroundings: the internal door, all grab rails, the dropdown rail, the floor and the toilet seat.
- Lighting levels are good in the cubicle.
- There is a slight lip at the threshold of the door which is less than 2cm.
Standard Toilet(s) (Farmyard)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet(s).
- There is a manual door which opens outwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The shared standard toilet was surveyed.
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
- Lighting levels are good in the cubicle.
- The shared standard toilets are located at the front of the toilet block on the left side of the farmyard.
There are two cubicles.
There is a lip at the threshold to each cubicle which is less than 2cm.
