Service and Menus
View
- There is a food and drink ordering touchscreen, a counter where food and drink can be ordered and full table service available via online app.
- Orders are placed at the left hand side of the counter, or via the touchscreens, and collected at the right hand side of the counter.
There is an overhead screen displaying the progress of order numbers, and staff call out the order number when it is ready.
The Welcome Break app can also be used to place orders. - Staff can bring food and/or drinks to tables.
- Menu types include; online menus and written wall menus.
- Menus are clearly written.
- Menus are presented in contrasting colours.
- The type of food served here is burgers and fries.
- Plastic/takeaway cups are available.
- Adapted cups are not available.
- Adapted cutlery is not available.
- Drinking straws are available on request.
- Music is played everywhere.
- There is not a hearing assistance system .

Self-Service Touchscreens

- Self-service touchscreens are available for ordering.
- The touchscreens are 110cm to 180cm from the floor.
- The lowest height of the touchscreen card machines is 98cm.
- The touchscreens do not have tent cards which you can use to get food and drink delivered to tables.

- There is not a lowered section of the counter.
- There are windows, TVs, glazed screens or mirrors at/behind the counter.
- The counter is not placed in front of a plain background.
- There is a moveable card machine available for payment.
- The lighting levels are good.
Seating Area
- The seating area is located on the upper level, to the rear of the services building.
- There is ramped/sloped access to the seating area.
- There is sufficient space for a wheelchair user to use the seating area.
- In this area there are tables, high stools, a mixture of chairs with and without armrests and high tables available.
- Chairs are not permanently fixed to the floor.
- Tables are not permanently fixed to the floor.
- The distance between the floor and the underside of the lowest table is 64cm.
- The distance between the floor and the underside of the highest table is 73cm.
- The surface height of the tables is 101cm.
- Music is played everywhere.
- There is flooring which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
- Access to the additional seating area is via 4 clearly marked deep (18cm) steps with a handrail on the right.
- There are similar steps to access the seating area without handrails.
