  • Service and Menus View
    • There is a food and drink ordering touchscreen, a counter where food and drink can be ordered and full table service available via online app.
    • Orders are placed at the left hand side of the counter, or via the touchscreens, and collected at the right hand side of the counter.
      There is an overhead screen displaying the progress of order numbers, and staff call out the order number when it is ready.
      The Welcome Break app can also be used to place orders.
    • Staff can bring food and/or drinks to tables.
    • Menu types include; online menus and written wall menus.

Seating Area

  • The seating area is located on the upper level, to the rear of the services building.
  • There is ramped/sloped access to the seating area.
  • There is sufficient space for a wheelchair user to use the seating area.
  • In this area there are tables, high stools, a mixture of chairs with and without armrests and high tables available.
  • Chairs are not permanently fixed to the floor.
  • Tables are not permanently fixed to the floor.
  • The distance between the floor and the underside of the lowest table is 64cm.
  • The distance between the floor and the underside of the highest table is 73cm.
  • The surface height of the tables is 101cm.
  • Music is played everywhere.
  • There is flooring which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
  • Lighting levels are moderate to good.
  • Access to the additional seating area is via 4 clearly marked deep (18cm) steps with a handrail on the right.
  • There are similar steps to access the seating area without handrails.
