Copenhagen Street - Deansway

- This section has an uphill gradient.
- There are several crossing points over Deansway to the continuation of Copenhagen Street.

Junction – Copenhagen Street – Deansway – Copenhagen Street
- There are several crossings at this junction to cross Deansway.
- The crossings have dropped kerbs on both sides and tactile paving on both sides.
- The crossings are push button controlled with visual, audible and tactile signals.
- The pathways are tarmac and block paving.
- The surface of the road at all crossings is tarmac.
- The pathways are uneven in places.
- There are some obstructions along the pavement on both sides such as, railings, bollards, cycle racks, bus stops, bins and signboards.
- There is a slight uphill slope running across Deansway.
Copenhagen Street to High Street
- The length of this section is approximately 120m.
- The road is a two -way road.
- This section is partially a pedestrianised area, from approximately 60m.
- The surface of the road at all crossings is tarmac.
- The pathways in this section are formed of tarmac/block paving.
- The pathways on both sides are narrow in places.
- There is a slight uphill slope running from Copenhagen Street towards High Street.
- There are some uneven areas on the pathways throughout this section.
- There are some obstructions along the pavement on both sides such as, cycle racks, bins, street furniture and signboards.
- There are some side entrances to cross along the section, most have dropped kerbs, but most don’t have tactile paving.
- The Tourist information Centre is located on the left, at the junction of Copenhagen Street and The High Street, the route is pedestrianised at this point.
