Getting Help and Assistance

  • To book and obtain special assistance and for information please click here (new tab).

Airport Parking

    • The car park is located to the right as you enter the airport, behind the Maldron Hotel.
    • The car park type is open air/surface.
    • The car park does have a height restriction barrier.
    • The maximum height of the restriction barrier is 450cm (14ft 9in).
    • The car park does have a barrier control system at the entrance.
    • The car park surface is tarmac.
    • There is a/are Blue Badge parking bay(s) available.
    • The Blue Badge bay(s) is/are clearly marked.
    • There is/are 10+ designated Blue Badge parking bay(s) within the car park.
    • The dimensions of the designated Blue Badge parking bay(s) surveyed are 480cm x 600cm (15ft 9in x 19ft 8in).
    • There is a 120cm hatched zone around the Blue Badge parking bay(s).
    • There are not help points available within the car park.

Bus Transfer to Terminal (Long Stay Car Park)

  • There is a bus service available that runs between the car park and the terminal(s).
  • Bus Stop(s) View
    • There are two bus stop shelters with dropped kerb access located in Zone E Row 10 and Zone F Row 10.
      There is no seating but space for wheelchairs.
      The call system is out of action.
      A notice asks passengers to telephone 028 9448 4852/51 to call for the bus.
  • Access View
    • There is level access from the Blue Badge bays to the bus stops via dropped kerbs with tactile paving.
    • There is ramped access to all of the bus stops.
    • All bus stops have step-free access with dropped kerbs, via the bus's tailgate lift.
  • Bus Details View
    • The bus does have a ramp available.
    • The buses will either have a ramp available, a lift available, or will be able to lower to kerb level.
    • There is a designated space available for wheelchair users.
    • The minibus has a tailgate lift 76cm wide by 110cm deep.

Route from Long Stay Car Park to Check-in Hall Main Entrance

  • The distance from the nearest Blue Badge Bay in the Long Stay car park to Check-in Hall main entrance is approximately 300m (5/6 minute walk).
  • From the vehicle make your way to the main entrance.
  • Take the passenger footpath to the right of the car park entrance (shown in photographs 1 and 2) to the road.
  • Bear right and cross the entry road to the car hire lot via the zebra crossing (shown in photograph 3).
  • There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving to each pavement.
  • Bear left and follow the path round to the right and continue down the pavement (shown in photograph 4) toward the terminal keeping the high metal chain link fence on your right.
  • Continue to the exit road from the car hire lot. Bear right and cross via the very faded zebra crossing (shown in photograph 5).
  • Continue along the path and through the bollards (shown in photograph 7).
  • The minimum width between the bollards is 119cm.
  • Continue to the terminal building and enter via the Main Entrance (shown in photograph 8).
