City is a leading global university (among the top five per cent of universities in the world) and the only university in London to be both committed to academic excellence and focused on business and the professions. We attract over 18,000 students from more than 150 countries and academic staff from over 50 countries.

City is a place where diversity is a strength and inclusiveness is promoted proactively, within our student and staff body. We are committed to supporting those with disabilities and offer a range of services and support and strive to ensure that our campus is accessible to all.

Support services

Our Disability Support team provides ongoing individual support for students with diagnosed disabilities or long-term health conditions who require help to identify barriers to success in their studies and/or emotional well-being and to develop effective learning and coping strategies. We offer advice on how to claim funding and make recommendations for reasonable adjustments to help learning, including liaison with departments across City to ensure that appropriate arrangements are in place. We also work with students who require temporary arrangements
