About Basingstoke College of Technology

Founded in 1948, Basingstoke College of Technology (BCOT) attracts over 9,000 students every year.

BCOT is an award-winning college. It has two Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) for Construction, and Retail and Associated Logistics. These departments won national CoVE status because they deliver the highest quality education and training for industry.

BCOT offers a wide range of full time and part-time courses; including short training programmes for people at work, professional and management courses, Apprenticeship training and recreational adult education courses. No matter what level of education required, from diplomas through to HNDs, Foundation Degrees and BAs, BCOT has something to offer.

The college’s Student Services department holds the national Matrix Award guaranteeing the best information, advice and guidance about learning and work. The college also holds the Training Quality Standard, the national award for working with industry, which is currently only held by 26 other organisations in England.

As part of its ongoing commitment to diversity and social inclusion, BCOT is pleased to work in partnership with AccessAble.

The College is committed to the principles of equality of opportunity and is determined to make sure that no student or prospective student, member of staff or visitor receives less favourable treatment because of his or her disability.
