Getting Help and Assistance
View
- The Subway is open from 07:00 to 19:00 on Monday and Saturday, 08:00 to 19:00 from Tuesday to Thursday, 07:00 to 19:00 on Friday and 08:00 to 20:00 on Sunday.
- There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
- Water bowls for assistance dogs are available on request from the main building.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.

- Subway is located on the first floor, along the link bridge.
- There is step-free access, via lift, to Subway.
- The entrance area is clearly signed.

Toilet Facilities

- Accessible toilet facilities are located on the ground floor of the northbound services building, along the corridor to the right as you enter and on the ground floor of the southbound services, to the front right of the building.

Service and Menus

- There is a food and drink ordering touchscreen and a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
- Orders are placed on either the left hand side of the counter or via the self-service touchscreens and is collected at the right hand side oft the counter.
- Staff can bring food and/or drinks to tables.
- Menu types include; written wall menus and menu boards.
- Menus are clearly written.
- Menus are presented in contrasting colours.
- Staff can read menus to customers if requested.
- The type of food served here is hot and cold subway sandwiches and salads.
- Takeaway cups are available.
- Adapted cups are not available.
- Adapted cutlery is not available.
- Drinking straws are available.
- Background music is played throughout this area.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.

Self-Service Touchscreens

- Self-service touchscreens are available for ordering.
- The touchscreens are 112cm to 167cm from the floor.
- There is a button which will condense the screen content.
- The height of the button is 112cm from the floor.
- Once condensed the touchscreen heights are 112cm to 138cm from the floor.
- The lowest height of the touchscreen card machines is 93cm.
- The touchscreens do not have tent cards which you can use to get food and drink delivered to tables.

Service Counter

- The height of the counter is 87cm.
- There is not a lowered section of the counter.
- There are no windows, TVs, glazed screens or mirrors at/behind the counter.
- The counter is not placed in front of a plain background.
- There is a moveable card machine available for payment.
- The lighting levels are good.
Seating Area (First Floor - Link Bridge)
- The seating area is located on the first floor, in the central area of the link bridge.
- There is step-free access to the seating area, via lift.
- There is sufficient space for a wheelchair user to use the seating area.
- In this area there are tables, high tables, booths, bench seats, high stools and chairs without armrests available.
- Some chairs are fixed to the floor.
- Tables are not permanently fixed to the floor.
- The distance between the floor and the underside of the lowest table is 73cm.
- The distance between the floor and the underside of the highest table is 94cm.
- The standard height for the underside of tables is 73cm.
- The surface height of the lowest table is 76cm.
- The surface height of the highest table is 105cm.
- The surface height of the tables is 76cm.
