Summary

    • This guide describes accessibility and services to all floors from the basement to the second floor in the Hodgkin Building.
      The guide also includes the Newcomen Street Extension to the left of the Hodgkin building, the ground floor of which is accessed via Doyle's House, and the first floor of which is accessed from within the Hodgkin Building.
      The first floor of the Newcomen Street Extension is accessed from within the Hodgkin Building.
      The Hodgkin Building is connected to the Wolfson Centre for Age Related Diseases (CARD) at the rear, and Henriette Raphael House to the right.
      There are underground connections to the Wolfson CARD and New Hunt's House but these are not described in this guide.

  • Location of Toilet/Changing Facilities View
    • Accessible toilet facilities are located towards the rear of the building; on the ground floor to the centre of the building; and on the ground floor in the Newcomen Street Extension. Step-free access to the accessible toilet on the ground floor is via the main lift from the basement to the first floor, and then via the rear lift to the ground floor.
    • Female standard toilet facilities are located on the ground floor to the left of the building; on the basement floor near the Harris Lecture Theatre; to the rear right of the building via the ground floor, left past the Wills Library; on the first floor in the main lift lobby; on the second floor to the rear left of the building; and off the main stairwell between the second floor and third floor; on the ground floor of the Newcomen Extension; and on the landing between the ground floor of the Hodgkin Building and first floor of the Newcomen Street Extension.
    • Male standard toilet facilities are located on the ground floor to the left of the building; on the basement floor near the Harris Lecture Theatre; on the first floor in the main lift lobby and to the rear left of the building; on the ground floor of the Newcomen Extension; and on the landing between the ground floor of the Hodgkin Building and first floor of the Newcomen Street Extension.
    • Shared standard toilet facilities are located on the basement floor to the far right of the building; on the first floor off the main stairwell; and on the second floor to the centre and to the rear centre of the building.
