Bexley, on the outer fringe of London, has over 100 parks and open spaces, including Lesnes Abbey Woods, Danson Park and Hall Place Gardens. Hall Place is a former stately home, today a Grade I listed building and Scheduled Ancient Monument, beside the River Cray on the outskirts of Crayford. Visit to explore Bexley’s extensive museum collection, ranging from natural history, geology and archaeology to costume, painting and furniture. Children will enjoy Danson Splash Park and playground, which has wet and dry play areas, an ornamental lake and areas perfect for a family picnic.
