Car Parking to New Era Square

New Era Square to Sheldon Street

  • After exiting the car park turn left and follow the path to Sheldon Street.
  • There is step-free access along the walkway in New Era Square.
  • There is either a slight slope or 2 to 3 steps leading down from New Era Square to access Sheldon Street.
  • There are bollards after the slope and steps.

Sheldon Street to Bramall Lane Pedestrian Crossing

  • After joining Sheldon Street turn left and follow the path for approximately 5 metres until you reach the crossing to the opposite side of Sheldon Street.
  • The crossing has dropped kerbs without tactile paving on both sides.
  • After completing the crossing, turn left and follow the path as it merges onto Bramall Lane.
  • After joining Bramall Lane follow the path for approximately 20 metres until you reach the pedestrian crossing.
  • There are signposts located along the path. There is space to the right of the signposts.

Bramall Lane Pedestrian Crossing

  • The pedestrian crossing has dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides.
  • The pedestrian crossing is signal box controlled.
  • The crossing has a rotating cone at the base of the signal box to indicate when it is safe to cross for visually impaired people.
  • Caution is advised when crossing, as traffic travels from both directions.

Bramall Lane Pedestrian Crossing to Outer Concourse

  • After completing the crossing turn right and follow the path for approximately 80 metres until you reach the corner of the John Street Stand and Bramall Lane Stand.
  • There is step-free access along the route.
  • The path crosses the entrance and exit access roads for a petrol station.
  • Both crossings have dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides.
  • Caution is advised when crossing due to vehicles entering and exiting the car park.
  • At the end of the route there is a dropped kerb with tactile paving to access the matchday outer concourse on John Street and Bramall Lane.

Outer Concourse (Cherry Street, Shoreham Street, John Street and Bramall Lane)

  • There is step-free access along paths.
    The surface of the paths is tarmac.
    The path on Cherry Street crosses the access road to the Tony Currie Stand car parks.
    There are 2 crossings on Cherry Street, both with dropped kerbs and tactile paving both sides.
