About Slough Council

Slough is a diverse and vibrant town in Berkshire, with the largest trading estate in Europe, and fantastic travel links, with Crossrail due to arrive soon. The town boasts excellent leisure facilities including a new ice arena, new activity centre with indoor caving, and a brand new sports centre. Its main library and cultural centre -The Curve is easily accessible in the centre of the town, which also hosts exhibitions and performances. Green space is plentiful in Slough with more than 70 parks and open spaces, with Green Flags flying at Salt Hill Park, Herschel Park and Pippins Park. Herschel Park, a beautiful Grade II listed restored Victorian park, that is surrounded by the Upton Park Estate, is very well used for events including family fun days, nature trails and wildlife talks.
