Angel Row

  • The length of this section is approximately 100m.
  • This section is not a pedestrianised area.
  • This section has a steep uphill gradient for approximately 25m and then levels off for the remaining 75m.
  • This is where the exit from the Bus Station meets Angel Row
  • There is a crossing point over Angel Place to Angel Street.
  • This crossing point has dropped kerbs but no tactile paving.
  • The pathways are tarmac and block paving.
  • The surface of the road at all crossings is tarmac.
  • The pathways are fairly narrow and are uneven in places.
  • There are some obstructions along the pavement on both sides such as, railings, cycle racks, bus stops, bins and signboards.
  • Junction – Angel Row, Angel Place, Angel Street
  • There are several crossings at this junction to cross Angel place.
  • The crossings have dropped kerbs on both sides but do not have tactile paving on both sides.
  • The pathways are tarmac and concrete.
  • The pathways are narrow at this junction.
  • The surface of the road at all crossings is tarmac.

Angel Street to Foregate Street Junction
