About North Yorkshire Moors Railway
In June 1967 a small group of local people formed the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Preservation Society, today the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Trust is a not-for-profit charitable organisation run as part of the local community.
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway wish for their visitors to have a great day out - a place for everyone to visit and enjoy a fun day out on board the historic carriages travelling behind a heritage steam or diesel locomotive. They're committed and continuously working hard to make their site as accessible as possible for all to enjoy and feel included.
