About National Express

National Express is the largest provider of scheduled express coach services in the UK. With our fleet of over 550 coaches, we operate circa 1,500 service journeys per day and serve over 800 locations across the country.

As a major national provider of public transport, we know how important it is for our services to be accessible and we work hard to ensure we support our passengers to travel as easily as possible.

We were the first company in the UK to introduce our pioneering wheelchair lifts across our coach fleet. Our dedicated Assistance Travel team provide specialist help for passengers with accessibility needs to plan their journeys. Where we have coach stations with staff, they can provide practical assistance, information and guidance and help with way finding.

We also offer a discounted travel card for passengers with disabilities, which applies to both peak and off-peak travel.
